Everything FairGrow does, and what is coming
FairGrow puts your sensors, the weather, satellite images and the plant protection registers side by side and turns them into advice per field.
and calculates
More data, measured results, nothing hidden
More sources, side by side
A weather app picks one model. We put nine side by side, with your own sensors, Sentinel-2 and six national product registers. Where they disagree, you see that too.
Measured, not promised
We keep every forecast and score it afterwards against what really happened. You see the outcome, even when it disappoints. The same goes for reading lab reports.
Everything in the open
Every damage threshold with a source citation. Every part of this page with its status. Your data on our own servers, not in an American cloud.
Sensors built to measure, made for the field
Our own ESP-NOW sensors need no wifi and no power socket. They run on a battery or a solar panel and pass their readings to each other, up to a gateway that is online. On our own setup they work very well.
- Built to measure: soil moisture and soil temperature at several depths, light, leaf wetness, and switching a pump or valve. In an IP65 housing.
- When the leaf gets wet, the sensor transmits immediately. Exactly the moment a disease model needs.
- Zigbee sensors are usable today. Thousands of devices from other brands are recognised, and for every sensor we store a fingerprint, so it stays connected.
In testing The ESP-NOW sensors are waiting for their CE marking. How they work
From the field to your dashboard
How often was the forecast wrong? We show you.
A weather app gives you a forecast and forgets it. FairGrow keeps it and puts it next to what actually happened, at your location, a year back.
- Per day ahead. You see how fast the error grows, and so up to which day you can plan on it.
- Per source. Which weather source does best at your location.
- The middle value of all sources, with the spread alongside. For rain we count: “2 of the 3 say dry”, not a percentage nobody can check.
- 14 days ahead from three ensemble models, which we check in the same way.
Error per day ahead
Where the sources disagree
Every spray application checked as you type
You record a spray application and FairGrow immediately checks it against the approval register of your country: crop, dose, interval and frequency. If something is wrong, you see it before you save.
- EPPO codes for crop and pest, so it works across countries and languages.
- Compare across the border. If a product is not approved here, you see where it is.
- Behind every product, the substance, with a structural drawing and the label in your own language.
- 1,058 damage thresholds per pest and crop, each with a checked source citation. In the crop protection app. In testing
From crop to substance
SOLTUPHYTIN

Your field seen from above every few days
Sentinel-2 at 10 metres, roughly every five days. FairGrow removes the clouds, calculates growth and drought, and puts it next to what your sensors measure in the ground.
- Growth index (NDVI) since 2017, so you can put this season next to earlier years.
- A drought layer and a cloud mask, so a cloud does not look like a poor crop.
- What grew there in previous years, from Copernicus land monitoring.
- Elevation, slope and aspect per field, from the Copernicus elevation model.
True colour and growth index
Your crop data counts at the bank too
A bank or leasing company that invests in a grower almost never sees the field. FairGrow turns satellite, weather and climate history into a report a financier can read. That way what you do on the land becomes an argument at the table.
- Before the financing. Does the plan fit this field? Growth index, water balance and temperature of this season, next to the 30-year climate normal of exactly that location.
- After the financing. A report per field every week, and an alert as soon as something deviates. No installation: just satellite and weather.
- Compared with the neighbours. Is a setback caused by the weather or by the field? The comparison with surrounding fields shows it.
- Personal data stays in the country, processing works with tokens. In development
FairGrow does not assess creditworthiness and does not decide on financing. That stays with the financier. We prepared this report for a central bank and for an agricultural leasing company.
Weekly report for a financier
Your hardware stays yours, even if you ever switch
Many agritech platforms sell their own closed weather station. If you switch, you are left with an expensive paperweight. FairGrow runs on open standards, so your sensors, your coordinator and your automations always come with you.
- Standard Zigbee sensors from hundreds of manufacturers, at €15 to €60 each. If one breaks, you have a new one the same day.
- Your own coordinator. Already running Zigbee2MQTT or ZHA? Then you connect it in four steps. No port needs to be opened in your firewall.
- Your Home Assistant automations come with you. One click per automation. The copy starts disabled and your original stays untouched.
- Open source code for the ESP-NOW sensors, at no extra cost.
What happens when you switch

- Mid 2027Our own AI model on our own servers. Ask FairGrow then answers your growing questions without your question going to an external AI provider.
On request, not planned
A GPS/GSM data logger for places without wifi, full NPK fertigation per zone and automatic CO2 reporting. We build them as soon as customers ask for them. Today the FSI readiness module covers the certification route.
Deliberately not
Task maps to John Deere or ISOBUS and machine telemetry. FairGrow focuses on advice from sensors, weather and satellite. See how we compare with the alternatives, or ask us about an integration.
Your data stays with us
FairGrow runs on our own servers in a Dutch data centre. Not in a European region of an American provider, because the CLOUD Act applies there too. We do not sell your data.
One exception: Ask FairGrow runs via an American AI provider for now. The agreements are in data ownership and data use.
In 57 languages, right-to-left too
Platform, website and manual. We translate a new module as soon as it is finished, so the newest screens appear in Dutch and English first.
Four questions, briefly answered
What works already?
The core: weather from nine sources, satellite, sensors with calibration, crop records with product checks, disease and pest models, irrigation advice and the drone module. Automations, lab reports and administrative actions are being expanded now. The farm administration, with crop plan, costs and margin, adviser access and studies, is built but not finished.
Has it been tested with growers?
Not yet. It runs every day on our own setup and has to prove itself on larger fields. We are looking for growers for that now. The Zigbee hardware we build on is proven, the combination that is FairGrow is new.
What does it cost?
At the moment everything is open to you: the paid subscriptions have not started yet. What they will cost, you can read on the pricing page.
Can I connect my own sensors?
Yes, in several ways.
- Zigbee: thousands of devices from other brands are recognised automatically, and for every sensor we store a fingerprint.
- Your own hardware: if you have an ESP32 board or your own measuring setup, we can supply our own ESP-NOW firmware for it by arrangement, so it takes part in FairGrow as a sensor.
- LoRaWAN: for sensors far from wifi and without a gateway nearby. In development
- Open sensor firmware: we invest in better firmware every week, and the source code of our ESP-NOW sensors comes with it, at no extra cost. No lock-in: your sensors are standard and your data stays yours. If you like to build things yourself, you can make your own sensor node with it.
