Soil data and drone imagery in one platform

Soil data and drone imagery in one platform

FairGrow brings together two views you normally find in separate systems: continuous sensor data from the ground and periodic drone imagery from the air. Sensors tell you when something changes; drone imagery shows you where. Together they give you a complete picture neither can offer alone.

Two views, one picture

Two sources, one story

A sensor and a drone answer different questions. Read them together and you see not just that something is happening, but where it is happening and why.

Sensors measure continuously, at one point

Soil moisture, temperature, humidity: a reading every few minutes, day and night. You see trends and get an alert the moment a value drifts outside its band. But a sensor only measures where it stands.

When it changes

Drones see everything, in one moment

A single flight captures your whole plot or nursery in high resolution. You spot patches of lagging growth, wet or dry zones and damage you would miss from the ground. But a flight is a snapshot in time.

Where it happens

The combination makes the difference

When a sensor reports an unusual soil-moisture value, the latest drone image shows whether it is a small local spot or a zone of hundreds of square metres. The other way around: when a drone image reveals a discoloured area, the sensors in that block tell you whether it comes down to moisture, temperature or something else. One view flags it, the other explains it.

FairGrow Aerial Insights

What the drone module does

FairGrow turns your flight imagery into maps you can act on, straight inside your own environment.

Orthomosaic

All the individual photos are stitched into one sharp, geographically correct aerial image of your plot.

Vegetation indices

Maps that show your crop’s vitality, so problem zones stand out immediately instead of hiding in a sea of green.

Comparison over time

Fly regularly and you see your crop develop from week to week, side by side, so change becomes obvious.

Overview reports

Findings are summed up in a report you can share with colleagues, advisers or clients.

One platform, no app-hopping

Plan flights from the same place you read your data

You do not need to juggle separate apps. In FairGrow you draw your plot, set your altitude and overlap, and export a ready-to-fly mission file for your drone. FairGrow supports the common formats for DJI, QGroundControl and Litchi.

After the flight you upload the imagery and the platform processes it automatically into maps and reports, right next to your sensor data. From plan to insight, without leaving the dashboard.

Who this is for

Made for terrain that is too large to walk every day

If you manage ground you cannot fully cover on foot each day, this combination earns its keep.

Nurseries, tree nurseries, landscaping firms with large green maintenance, estate managers and growers all gain from pairing ground sensors with a view from the air. You do not need to be a drone expert: with a common consumer drone and a flight plan from FairGrow, you already get a long way.

FAQ
Do I need a special drone for FairGrow?

No. FairGrow works with imagery from common drones with a good camera. For vegetation indices based on multispectral captures, we also support professional cameras.

Can I plan flights in FairGrow?

Yes. You draw your plot and export a mission file for DJI, QGroundControl or Litchi.

What happens to my drone imagery?

It is processed into maps and reports within your own FairGrow environment. The imagery and results stay your property.

Do the sensors and drone imagery really work together?

Yes. Sensor locations sit on the same map as your drone imagery, so you can lay measurements and aerial view side by side.

How often should I fly?

That depends on your crop. Many users fly weekly or fortnightly during the growing season and rely on the sensors for daily monitoring in between.

See ground and air work together

Tell us about your crop and your site. We will set up a no-obligation pilot for a single greenhouse, field or nursery and show you what the data says before you commit to anything.
