Which languages does FairGrow support?

Knowledge base

FairGrow speaks your language

FairGrow is built for growers everywhere, so the entire platform is available in 57 languages. Not just the marketing pages: your dashboard, the sensor readings, the in-app manual and the daily grower’s note all appear in the language you choose.

One platform, fully translated, in the language you choose.

We do not translate a menu here and there. The grower dashboard, every setting, the in-platform manual and the public website all appear in the language you pick, so a grower in Nepal, Nigeria or the Netherlands gets the same clarity.

Why

Why we translate everything

Most farming software assumes English. A soil-moisture warning or an irrigation tip only helps if you can read it in the language you think in. So we translate the full product, not just a label here and there, and every language sees the same interface, the same manual and the same care.

To switch, pick your language from the selector in the top corner of any page, or in Settings inside the dashboard. Your choice is remembered for next time.

For NGOs and field programmes

Agricultural innovation often stops at the language border. We removed that border.

Why FairGrow is available in 57 languages, and what that means for organisations working on food security in remote areas.

The forgotten barrier

Anyone working in agricultural development knows the classic obstacles: funding, logistics, connectivity, training. But there is one barrier that is missing from almost every project plan and that often proves decisive in practice: language.

Nearly all modern agricultural technology speaks English. Sometimes French or Spanish. A farmer in the Armenian highlands, a cooperative in the Fergana Valley or a grower in northern Kenya is handed a dashboard in a language that is not their own. The outcome is predictable: the technology is installed during the project and disappears the moment the project worker leaves. Not because the farmer does not want it, but because the system was never really theirs.

Adoption of innovation begins with understanding. And understanding begins with your mother tongue.

The same alert, every language

One alert, fourteen of the 57 languages. What the grower reads is not a translated app: it is simply their own language, on a basic phone, without having to open the dashboard.

What "fully translated" means in the field

From the very first design sketch one principle has been fixed: the platform and the website are fully available in 57 languages. That is not a tick box on a product sheet. In practice it means:

  • The complete dashboard, every chart, setting and widget, in the language of the user.
  • Alarms and notifications through Telegram and e-mail in their own language, so they also reach a basic smartphone without the farmer having to open the dashboard.
  • Documentation and knowledge base in the same language as the platform itself. The full list is in the language overview above.

An alert such as "soil moisture in greenhouse 2 is dropping below the threshold" arrives in the language the grower thinks and decides in. That is the difference between a system that is tolerated and a system that is used.

Built for growers, not for engineers

Organisations rolling out technology projects in rural areas know the problem of the knowledge chain: the technology only works as long as someone with a technical background is nearby. FairGrow was deliberately designed the other way round.

Operational in an afternoon

Place the sensors, open the dashboard, done. No server administration and no local IT infrastructure needed.

Low connectivity requirements

Notifications run through Telegram, which works reliably worldwide even on slow connections. The dashboard is lightweight and runs in any browser.

The right sensor in the right place

Within the EU we work with certified Zigbee hardware. Beyond it we supply rugged custom sensors built on ESP32 technology that withstands unstable power grids and changing conditions.

Affordable and scalable

An entry level at no cost with a daily weather summary through Telegram, and paid tiers from a few euros per month. See the pricing page. Not an investment that scares off a project or a cooperative.

What this means for your programmes

For organisations working on food security, climate adaptation or income improvement in rural areas, FairGrow is a practical instrument.

Making climate adaptation measurable
Sensors continuously record temperature, humidity, soil moisture and light. Combined with weather forecasts from several sources and Sentinel-2 satellite imagery, this builds an objective picture of what is happening in a plot. That produces better cultivation decisions, and hard data for donor reporting.
Improving water management
Irrigation based on measured soil moisture instead of feel or habit. In areas where water is scarce, that is an immediate gain.
Warning early
Risk signals for pests and diseases based on local conditions, so action can be taken before a problem spreads across a community.
Letting knowledge take root
Because every grower uses the system in their own language, the knowledge stays in the community. Also after the project has formally ended.

European technology, global applicability

FairGrow is a trade name of EasyData B.V., a Dutch company that has been in business for 27 years, is ISO 27001 certified and operates from its own data centre in the Netherlands. Data from growers and cooperatives is processed in line with the GDPR and does not depend on large American or Chinese platforms. For organisations that have to account for data security and digital sovereignty, that is a relevant difference.

The platform grew out of practice: FairGrow was developed and tested in working greenhouses and nurseries, not in a laboratory. Every feature on the dashboard exists because a grower asked for it. You can read more about that under how it works and our story.

FAQ

Language questions

Is the whole platform translated, or only the website?

The whole product: your dashboard, settings, the in-platform manual, the website and the pricing pages.

What if my language is not listed yet?

The interface falls back to English and every feature keeps working. Tell us which language you would like and it moves up our list.

Will you add more languages?

Yes. We add languages as our grower community grows. This page shows the current count automatically.

How do you keep every language consistent?

Every translation is validated against strict rules for units, placeholders, terminology and script, so nothing breaks between languages.

Do you work with NGOs and development programmes?

Yes. We think along about pilot projects, from a single demonstration greenhouse to monitoring at cooperative level, and we supply sensors that suit local conditions. Read what FairGrow means for field programmes.

Does FairGrow also work on a slow or unstable connection?

Yes. Notifications run through Telegram, which gets through reliably even on narrow connections, and the dashboard is light enough for a basic smartphone. No local server or IT administration is needed.

What does it cost to get started?

There is an entry level at no cost with a daily weather summary through Telegram. Paid tiers start from a few euros per month, see the pricing page.
