The thinking behind FairGrow
FairGrow is an initiative of EasyData, a commercial company with 27 years of experience that also cares about the planet. We will not pretend it is pure idealism, because we have bills to pay and research to fund, and that is exactly the point: this works because it works for everyone.
That is the whole idea behind FairGrow: everyone benefits.
Growers get better harvests with less waste. Partners build real businesses. Our income comes from customers who use the platform, not from investors. What we build is therefore decided by what those users need, not by someone else’s growth target. And the planet benefits too. No one has to lose for someone else to win.
We are not here to join the organisations that just talk: we build, and we would rather ship something that works than sit through another meeting about good intentions.

And what we are good at is data science. We also happen to run our own servers in a Dutch data centre, and we are ISO 27001 certified. So we asked ourselves a simple question: why not put that to work for something that matters? Why use it only for invoices and documents, when it can just as easily help grow food?
That is the ground this initiative stands on. Nothing more complicated than that.
