Why we built FairGrow
FairGrow grew out of a simple belief: the data and tools that help growers do more with less waste should be within everyone’s reach, not only the largest operations.

We are EasyData, a Dutch data science company that has turned messy data into clear decisions for years. We build our own algorithms, run our own datacenter in Europe, and care about getting the technical work right rather than dressing it up. FairGrow is where we point that experience at the land.

The world is changing under growers’ feet
Climate, water, energy and the cost of inputs are all shifting, and faster than most planning cycles allow for. As data scientists we are convinced that better measurement and clearer insight are among the most practical tools we have to respond. We would rather build something useful than watch the change from the sidelines.

With FairGrow we hope to do our part in keeping the world’s food supply affordable. Every harvest that comes in healthier, more predictable and with less waste moves things a little in the right direction. We start small, with real growers on real plots, and earn the next step from there.
